1.What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Browsers also offer local storage and session storage, which work in a similar way. In this policy we call all of these "cookies".
2.What we use
Everything below is needed to make the site work or to remember a choice you made. None of it is used for advertising.
- Sign-in cookie (stadipass_rt): keeps you signed in. It is HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Strict, and lasts up to 30 days or until you sign out.
- Sign-in hint (stadipass:has-session): a flag in local storage that tells the site you have signed in before, so it only asks the server to restore your session when it needs to.
- Language (stadipass:locale) and phone country (stadipass:phone-country): remember your choices.
- Checkout (stadipass:active-order, stadipass:card-return): session storage that lets you carry on with a payment after a refresh or after returning from the card page. It is cleared when you close the tab.
- Cookie notice (stadipass:cookie-notice): remembers that you have seen the cookie notice.
- Gate device (stadipass:device-id): used only by staff scanning tickets, to identify the scanning device.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: the security check on sign-up, sign-in and seat views may store data in your browser to tell people from bots. It is provided by Cloudflare and governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Payment pages: M-Pesa, Airtel Money and the card page (Paystack) are run by those providers, who may set their own cookies under their own policies.
3.Your choices
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and clear local storage from the site settings. If you block the ones listed above you will not be able to stay signed in or complete a purchase, and the security check may fail.
Signing out removes your sign-in cookie. Changing the language or phone country again overwrites the saved choice.
4.If this changes
If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies we will update this page and ask for your permission first. Questions: [email protected].
